How You Can Help
As a charity we rely on donations and income from legacies to enhance the experiences of our young people. We could not develop or improve our services without this vital income.
To ensure the success of this project we welcome donations of equipment and cash and of course, the valuable contribution of time and skills from volunteers, service users and staff.
We welcome volunteers and community groups from all sectors of the community, particularly those with mental health issues to come and work in the allotments, herb, wildflower and forest garden areas and to help with the recycling and composting processes.
We will provide leadership with projects. Groups or individuals who wish to join this exciting project need to bring their own support staff, if they require support.
We are offering basic practical Horticulture instruction in a safe environment, advice on projects to attract wildlife into your own garden, advice on composting, recycling, biodiversity and other green issues.
What could you gain from us? The chance to meet new friends, learn new valuable skills, enjoy nature and do your bit for the environment.
We have a wildlife watching point near an old pond, wheelchair friendly paths through the forest garden, a developing garden for growing vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs, an outside classroom experience, an Eco toilet and of course the peace and tranquillity of the site.
