Curriculum and Learning

Staff will produce a range of plans to focus on learners’ needs and development throughout the year. All plans are reviewed regularly and some form the basis for our Annual Reports to parents. Plans can include:

• Individual Learning Plan (ILP) – educational targets
• Individual Target Plan (ITP) – life skills targets
• Individual Behaviour Management Plan (IBMP) – behavioural targets
• Care Plan – health and medical requirements

This year sees the introduction of our new 14 to 19 curriculum where, in addition to our present courses, learners will be given the opportunity to gain qualifications in:

• Child care
• Basic construction
• Woodwork
• Hair and Beauty
• Small animal care
• Horticulture
