Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) L3

(300 hours, 58 credits)

This course is suitable for anyone who has been working in the health and social care sector for adults.    There are 3 pathways:  Generic, Learning Disabilities and Dementia.  We can offer General and Learning Disabilities.  Approximately 9-12 months duration.

Diploma for Children & Young People’s Workforce L3

(440 hours, 65 credits)

This course is suitable for anyone who has been working in the health and social care sector for children and young people.  There are 3 pathways:  Generic, Learning Support and Early Years.  We can offer Generic and Learning Support.   Approximately 12-18 months duration.

These diplomas are candidate led with regular support from the assessor via workshops, reviews, observations and email. Maximum 20 candidates per cohort. 

Enrolment for individuals is usually held in September, February and May. Enrolment for groups can be arranged separately.

Exciting news about Apprenticeships

We are applying to Skills for Care to deliver these Diplomas as adult apprenticeships.  If we are successful, candidates would be required to attend training between half day to a full day on a weekly basis. Our aim is to work in partnership with employers who cannot provide the training themselves. We would be able to deliver this at the Trust or at your own premises, and will modify the activities to suit your particular needs.
